So - John and Daryl got hit today.  They went into town early this morning to get the tandem worked on.  The bike was finished by 2:00 and they started back to our friend’s house.  One and a half blocks from the bike store - a car plowed into them. John and Daryl were thrown from the bike (John was clipped in, so couldn’t go anywhere and fell with the bike).  John opted not to go to the hospital, but is limping very badly and will most likely end up there tomorrow.  At this point, it appears t

Well this brief time off has found me feeling somewhat better. I have a shitload of homework to do, but I feel better about doing it. I do enjoy Fridays when I get to leave work early. Today was an especially interesting day. First My lovely wife has left me for greener pastures. She has headed south to Richmond to hang out with our friend BuilderMama to do an 8K race tomorrow.
