How do you cope with Gas Prices?

Hey guys, I'm looking into buying an older truck, and frankly, I'm not the richest guy in the world. I pull in like $80 a week working 2 days, and I know that really isn't anything. Either way, I'm looking at older Ford trucks with big straight sixes in 'em that will get me around 12-18 MPG, and I know, gas prices are ridiculous!!! I drive maybe 100 kms a week.
