Note: This entry consists of an original post plus a post from my own blog. Two days ago I wrote a post regarding my VP picks for Barack Obama, expecting him to announce his VP pick at the DNC and not this morning. Ironically, Joe Biden was not on my list of possible VP suggestions, so I was surprised to learn that Senator Obama had selected as his running mate a man who described Obama as "the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy".
